For many dentists that strive to do quality work, dealing with outside labs can be both rewarding but also at times frustrating. When it comes to giving a patient a top quality result, whether it be a full mouth cosmetic reconstruction or a single crown it is important that both the doctor and the lab technician share the same goals and standards of treatment. Restoring a tooth can take more than one step and if any of these steps are not performed with the utmost care it can compromise the eventual outcome. In developing this lab I knew that at least three things would have to be done.

I, myself would have to have the extra training as a technician in the art of esthetic crown and bridge, and porcelain veneer construction.
I would have to invest in the best equipment and premises possible.
